Hollywood officer-involved shooting: Suspect injured

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspect was injured during an officer-involved shooting in Hollywood Sunday morning.

Los Angeles police officers were initially called at about 10 a.m. to the 5000 block of Lemon Grove Avenue about a burglary from a car. Upon arrival, the suspect produced a handgun and officers fired, LAPD officials said.

No officers were hurt. The suspect was taken to a hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
