Man arrested after Jurupa high school break-in

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested for breaking into a Jurupa Valley high school, police said.

Police found Markion Williams, 19, hiding on the Rubidoux High School campus after responding to a burglary alarm around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Williams had a stolen firearm and items belonging to the school in his possession, police said. Police believe Williams acted alone.

Williams was arrested for commercial burglary, possession of stolen property, parole violation, discharging a firearm in a negligent manner, vandalism and resisting arrest.

He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center and is being held without bail.
