Man beaten on Culver City bus; suspect sought
Culver City Police are searching for a suspect who attacked a man on a city bus in November, causing the victim to be hospitalized.

CULVER CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Culver City Police are searching for a suspect who attacked a man on a city bus in November, causing the victim to be hospitalized.

Police say an African-American man in his early 20s got into an argument with a man in his 60s on a Culver City bus at about 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the area of Slauson Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard.

After a few seconds of arguing, the suspect stood up and repeatedly punched the man in the head and face, according to police. The suspect and a female companion then exited the bus.

The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as having a light complexion, a mustache or goatee, and was wearing camouflage shorts and a maroon hooded sweatshirt with a brown front pocket.

The suspect was with a female associate, described as a Hispanic woman in her early 20s with dark hair, wearing a black shirt and black pants, and carrying a skateboard.
