Muhammad Ali, regarded as one of the greatest boxers in history, died on Friday. He was 74.

Perhaps the most recognized person in the world, Ali will be remembered for iconic victories over Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman.

Ali had been battling respiratory issues that were complicated by Parkinson's disease. Ali was hospitalized in the Phoenix area as family members gathered by his bedside.
