PHELAN, Calif. (KABC) -- A firenado was spotted thrashing in the Blue Cut Fire amid ABC7's live coverage of the blaze on Tuesday.
The firenado whirled during ABC7's Leanne Suter's live shot near Phelan.
The Blue Cut Fire began as a small 5-acre brush fire above Devore, but then exploded into a 9,000-acre blaze that forced 82,000 people to evacuate their homes in San Bernardino County.
