Unique Nutcracker show at Luckman Theatre at Cal State LA produced by students, families

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- There may not be anything more synonymous with the holiday season then the Nutcracker ballet! We're taking you backstage for rehearsal of an annual performance at the Luckman Theatre at Cal State Los Angeles, where it's all hands on deck to be stage ready.

It's thanks to the artistic direction of Marat and Pamela Daukayev from the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet. But unlike most productions, this one is performed and produced entirely by dance students and their families, some as young as 4 years old up to young adults in college.
