'Live with Kelly and Michael After Oscars Show' features Neil Patrick Harris

HOLLYWOOD (KABC) -- It was a much different sight on Hollywood Boulevard Monday morning, just hours after the 87th Oscars wrapped up inside the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.

The red carpet was rolled up and packed away as crews teared down the grandstands and stages. But inside the theatre, another live show took center stage.

"Live with Kelly and Michael" continued their tradition of hosting their "After-Oscars" show live from Hollywood.

"Nobody does the Academy Awards post-show like us. We put all our bells and whistles into this show because it just turns out so beautifully every year," said Kelly Ripa.

Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris joined them as a guest on the show. Among the topics discussed? The "Birdman" spoof that put Harris on stage in his tighty-whities.
