Whale watchers get surprise orca visit in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY (KABC) -- Passengers onboard Captain Dave's Dolphin and Whale Watching Safari got a visit from about 10 orcas in Orange County.

They were less than 3 miles off the coast of Dana Point when they spotted the whales.

A pod of the whales swam right alongside the boat, to the delight of the passengers.

Just a few days ago, another pod of orcas was spotted playing in the wake of a boat in San Diego.
