Romain Jantot and a passenger took off on a flight with the ULM club Kourou flight school based in Kourou, French Guiana. The flight is going perfectly fine until the 0:37 second mark of the video, when a cat suddenly appears on the left wing.

"A standard flight until...I still don't know if it got in after the pre-flight check or if i missed it," Jantot said on YouTube.

The cat calmly crawls over towards the cockpit of the plane, and stays in place for nearly 30 seconds until Jantot notices the feline. Jantot is clearly surprised by the cat, and he and his passenger share a laugh before the plane comes in for a landing.

"The cat is doing well, she is still our mascot," Jantot said.

The video had already racked up over 250,000 views on YouTube since being uploaded on Sunday.

"Coolest cat on earth? No, coolest flying cat," wrote one YouTube user.

"I wouldn't be laughing! I'd be apologizing profusely and hoping the cat doesn't hate me!" wrote another.
