MONTEREY, Calif. -- The Monterey Bay Aquarium has gotten a rare look at a fish called the Black Seadevil.
It is a species of anglerfish that has never been captured on video in the wild until last week.
Scientists spotted it 2,000 feet below the surface of the Monterey Bay.
Not much is known about Black Seadevils beyond their life spans and their reproductive biology.
It is hoped the video will reveal how they move, swim, even orient to gravity.
