Porto's Bakery and Cafe breaks ground on new West Covina location

WEST COVINA, Calif. (KABC) -- Attention Porto's lovers! The famous bakery franchise is breaking ground on a new location in West Covina on Monday.

The lot is only dirt right now - but not for long!

The new two-story location is being built on the site of the old Crazy Horse Bikini Bar and Grill on West Garvey Avenue.

The new Porto's Bakery & Cafe location is expected to open sometime in the fall.

This is Porto's fifth local location. Others include Burbank, Glendale, Downey and Buena Park.
