CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. (KABC) -- A 1-year-old baby who was kidnapped in the City of Industry on Sunday, sparking an Amber Alert, was found hours away from Los Angeles County.
A search had been underway for the baby -- along with his father and paternal grandparents. The scary situation played out on Sunday in two different states.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said the 1-year-old boy was snatched from his mother at knifepoint while they were at the Target store on Colima Road in the City of Industry around noon on Sunday.
The suspects in the kidnapping are family: the boy's father, 20-year-old Dragan Antonesco, and Dragan's parents, 48-year-old Viorel Ilie and 40-year-old Marioara Ilie.

The sheriff's department said the 1-year-old was with his mother at the Target when Dragan, armed with a knife, arrived with his parents.
The grandparents assaulted the boy's mother, according to the sheriff's department, and then the three took off with the 1-year-old, prompting the Amber Alert.

Law enforcement agencies across California were keeping an eye out for the suspects' dark gray Toyota Sienna minivan, which detectives initially believed was on its way to Colorado. It appears they were right.
Around 8 p.m., about seven and a half hours away, a trooper in Winslow, Arizona, recognized the minivan from the Amber Alert and pulled the suspects over, finding the child inside.
Authorities said one person was taken into custody, but did not specify which of the three suspects it was. Either way, it means two of the suspects are not in custody and still wanted by law enforcement.
