Sunbliss Cafe shines in Anaheim, providing locals with a cozy community getaway

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Grab a coffee, a cold-pressed juice, or an acai bowl and enjoy the ride at Sunbliss Cafe, located in Anaheim's Sycamore Canyon Plaza.

Owner Tani Ahmed said Sunbliss Café quickly became a cozy getaway as the cloud of the COVID pandemic hovered.

"Anaheim and Anaheim Hills have been remarkable to us," Ahmed said. "What a great city to start a business in, in 2020."

The café offers lattes, matcha, chai and more, but you can also grab a bite to eat.

"Everything's good. Yes, everything's good," customers Lori and Keilani May said. "We get the avocado toast, we devoured it."

Sunbliss boasts the best and cleanest acai bowls in all of Southern California.

The hand-blended acai is sourced from Brazil, and served with fresh fruit, granola and Orange County honey. They said no added sugars, additives or food coloring is ever used here.

Plus, just for the summer, dig into the Dubai chocolate strawberries with a pistachio cream and real Belgian chocolate.

"We genuinely just wanted to be here for the community," Ahmed said. "Our goal is to spread a lot of happiness and shine amongst our locals."

The locals love the café, and it's kind of a requirement to with their "Love It Before You Leave" policy.

"Everybody's really nice all the time, very friendly. And it just feels like a nice, cozy place to come to and hang out," the Mays said.

"I'm very appreciate for you and everyone that's coming out and supporting us," Ahmed said.

Tani, Sarah, Jessica, Kailey and the whole Sunbliss team have put so much work into this restaurant that they were able to open a second location in Corona Del Mar, in Newport Beach.

The restaurant in Anaheim Hills is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

Sunbliss Cafe is located at 701 S Weir Canyon Rd. #115, in Anaheim.
