LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The rare supermoon eclipse wowed Southlanders on Sunday. Check out some great photos sent in by Eyewitness News viewers.

The rare double feature happened as the full moon made its closest approach to Earth, combined with a full lunar eclipse.

That hasn't been seen since 1982, and won't happen again until 2033.
