SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- The FBI told ABC News Saturday that dive teams have concluded their search of Seccombe Lake Park at this time.
On Thursday, dive teams began searching the lake for any evidence related to the deadly San Bernardino mass shooting. The lake is just a few miles away from the Inland Regional Center, where Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik opened fire during a holiday gathering, killing 14 people and injuring 22 others.
The FBI said they were looking into the possibility that the shooters were seen at the park in the period between the shooting and a shootout in which they were killed several hours later.
FBI officials also told ABC News that items were recovered during the three-day search, but could not comment on what was found or if the items were connected to the Dec. 2 terror attack investigation.
