2017 Tournament of Roses Royal Court announced

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Royal Court for the 2017 Tournament of Roses was announced on Tuesday.

Seven young women were picked out of nearly 1,000 applicants. On Oct. 20, a lucky one will be named Rose Queen.

The group of seven will help lead the 128th Rose Parade on New Year's Day.
