LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Exploring L.A. through a Latino lens. This week, Vista L.A.'s Patricia Lopez joins MomsLA blogger Yvonne Condes for a day trip to Temecula onboard a luxurious RV from Giant RV.
Then, Alysha Del Valle meets up with Golden Boy Oscar de la Hoya at L.A.'s Fight Club. Patricia is hitting up Cerveteca in downtown L.A. to meet the familia behind some amazing food, heading over to Wilmington for a refreshing take on tea at Hojas Tea House and then going on a Cumbia Cruise for some fun on the water.
Day trip to Temecula
Our road trip to Temecula Valley started big with Giant RV. Giant's Frankie Barouti hooked up Patricia and Vista L.A. with a luxurious and spacious RV to explore Temecula Valley!
Our first stop in Temecula was the Palomar Inn Hotel, a 10-room historical landmark hotel built in the 1920s, located in the heart of charming Old Town Temecula. Before long, it was time for a little refreshment. Good thing we found Old Town Root Beer Company, a family run business with more than 500 sodas and 100 root beers! Their original root beer recipe was discovered in an old family Bible.
We also couldn't resist The Temecula Lavender Company because we could smell the lavender a block away! They have natural lavender products, which are made directly from the plants at a small lavender farm located right there in Temecula.
You cannot go to Temecula without stopping by their wine country. South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is the perfect getaway, surrounded by vineyards. It offers private villas, a day spa and the full wine tasting experience. South Coast is a three-time winner of the California State Winery of the Year.

MomsLA blogger Yvonne Condes
MomsLA co-founder Yvonne Condes also joined Patricia Lopez for a day trip to Temecula Valley. Yvonne had been to Temecula once before when she ran a half marathon, but this time around she wanted to find out if it was worth getting a babysitter if she wanted to spend the day with her husband.
Yvonne and MomsLA co-founder Sarah Auerswald answer this question on their YouTube channel. MomsLA is a blog dedicated to motherhood in a way that could only happen in Los Angeles. http://momsla.com/

L.A.'s new fight club
Inspired by the late 90s movie "Fight Club," boxing's "Golden Boy" Oscar de la Hoya has brought the sport back to Los Angeles. L.A. Fight Club is a monthly live event held at the historic Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Oscar says the purpose of L.A. Fight Club is to give local boxers an opportunity, while also celebrating our city's unique boxing history. www.goldenboypromotions.com/
Food and family at Cerveteca
Los Angeles restaurateur Oscar Hermosillo's latest food venture is Cerveteca in the downtown arts district. The cuisine is traditional-meets-modern L.A. Mexican food, served up with the love and help of his immediate family, including "Chef Mama."
Hojas Tea House
There's no Starbucks in sight but there is Hojas Tea House, an urban gem in the city of Wilmington with more than 50 unique tea blends, many of which are said to have medicinal benefits. http://hojastea.com/
Cumbia Cruise
Vista L.A. jumped aboard the Cumbia Cruise for a one-of-a-kind boat ride and party around the Long Beach Harbor with guest band El Grupo Nueva Ola. www.facebook.com/cumbia.cruise
