What is your state's favorite holiday movie?
Americans share a love for the silver screen. But when it comes to holiday movies, there are a select few that states adore more than any other.
Earlier this month, CableTV.com released a list of each state's favorite holiday movie. "We took top-rated holiday movies as ranked by viewers over at AMC (American Movie Classics)," the website said. "Then, we cross-referenced them with Google Trends state data from the past decade to see which holiday favorites were most likely to pop up on TVs in your town."
Home Alone, Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and It's a Wonderful Life were among the most common favorite movies among states. Older holiday films like A Christmas Carol and White Christmas, as well as raunchier holiday comedies like Bad Santa and Scrooged also made the list.
