Davante Adams reels in second TD vs. Jaguars off a 38-yard pass from Derek Carr

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A week after catching one pass for three yards in a shutout loss at the New Orleans Saintsin Week 8, Las Vegas Raiderswide receiver Davante Adamsputon a show against the Jacksonville Jaguarson Sunday.



Adams had seven catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns as the Raiders built a 17-0 lead with 10:51 to play in the second quarter.




On his second touchdown, quarterback Derek Carr executed a fake handoff and stood in the pocket until Adams broke free downfield. Jaguars safety Andre Cisco slipped on the play and no one was within 10 yards of Adams as he hauled in the pass and walked in for the 38-yard score.



Adams became the first player with five or more catches, 75 or more receiving yards and a receiving TD in the first quarter since tight endDarren Waller (Week 13 of 2020). Those are the only two Raiders to do it since at least 2004.



On the first score, Adams broke free down the left sideline to outleap Jaguars cornerbackTyson Campbell on a 25-yard play.




At halftime, Adams had a season high in receiving yards with 146 yards on nine catches. He had 10 catches for 141 yards in the season opener at the Los Angeles Chargers.



This is the first time in Adams' career that he's had at least 100 receiving yards and multiple receiving touchdowns in a half.
