LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- NFL star turned actor Terry Crews is tackling a new job: game show host!
He's taken over the reins on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and says his primary job is to help contestants.
"I want them to win ABC's money!" he laughed.
Crews hopes he can be an inspiration for others who might be facing challenges. He says he's discovered over time that life keeps moving, so you better move with it.
"When my football career ended, it wasn't over!" Crews said.
"But people were saying well you're an old football player, they'll never let you do this, they'll never let you do that. And you know what? I had to challenge every one of those things. I tell all the kids everywhere that you have to challenge the things that people say you can't do," Crews said.
The charismatic man had no trouble slipping into his new hosting duties. He's learned when given an opportunity to do something new, all you have to do is try.
"You know that little feeling in your stomach like 'Oh no, I'm embarrassed?'" Crews asked. "I lost that a long time ago!"
