Tyrese Gibson surprises students at former high school in Watts

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Singer-actor Tyrese Gibson made a surprise visit at his old high school in Watts Thursday as an effort to encourage and inspire students to reach for their dreams.

Gibson announced Locke High School will also be a part of We Day, a year-long program that nurtures compassion in youth and helps them earn their way to a free concert by earning a ticket through service.
