NORTH HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Sixty children took an oath of allegiance Tuesday in North Hills to become American citizens.
The immigrant children of naturalized citizens were automatically eligible to become U.S. citizens, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
"Their parents have gone through the naturalization process. They took the tests," said Roland Lyons with USCIS. "Now, their children are benefiting from their parents hard work."
Reporter Sid Garcia covered the emotional ceremony that marked the end of a long journey.
