LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Light rain is expected to move into Southern California amid cool temperatures this weekend, but Santa Ana winds are right around the corner.
Temperatures this weekend will be mostly in the 60s, with showers arriving in the evening hours Saturday. It will be dry Monday when elevated fire danger returns due to Santa Ana winds.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Saturday will see a high of 66 degrees and a chance of showers later in the day.
The valleys and Inland Empire Saturday will reach a high of 66 degrees. There's a slight chance of showers overnight and into Sunday morning.
The beaches Saturday will see a high of 62, and there's a 20% chance of rain.
There's a higher chance of rain in the mountains amid a high of 48 and a low of 22. Snow flurries are possible at higher elevations.
The desert areas Saturday will be sunny with a high of 65. The weekend will be windy.
