The suspect is identified as 33-year-old Darin Minasian.
Minasian is charged with three counts of robbery.
Police say he robbed two banks in Huntington Beach, and a third bank in the City of Orange.
Police say they received a tip after Minasian's photo was shown on television.
Investigators say they searched Minasian's home and found additional evidence linking him to the robberies.
