The Century City Doctors Hospital has experienced financial problems since opening three years ago.
Officials say the closure was prompted by an inability to sell the hospital or get new financing or extend its current financing for the hospital.
Over the next week, patients will be transferred to other hospitals, with the entire hospital closing next Friday.
