Gov. Palin to make first SoCal visit

The Republican vice presidential nominee is scheduled to appear in Orange County on October 4, although a venue has not yet been chosen.

Some Orange County Republicans say the turnout is expected to be in the tens of thousands for the free rally. Officials are searching for a venue to hold such a large crowd.

Palin will again meet with world leaders on Wednesday when she and McCain attend meetings at the UN.
