Sheriff's Dept. to review release policies

LOS ANGELES Deputies are expected to report back within 30 days.

The board's move comes after a South Los Angeles woman went missing after being released from the Malibu-Lost Hills station last month.

/*Mitrice Richardson*/, 24, is still missing.

She was arrested at Geoffrey's restaurant on /*Pacific Coast Highway*/ in Malibu because she was unable to pay her bill. She was alone at the restaurant.

Richardson was then taken to the Malibu-Lost Hills station and booked for failing to pay her bill and possessing less than an ounce of marijuana. Deputies say they found the drug in Richardson's Honda Civic, so the car was impounded.

Richardson was released in the early morning hours of Sept. 17 and has not been heard from since. She did not have a cell phone or a car with her.
