Tina Turrieta, 29, and 26-year old Stephen Casino were booked on suspicion of child endangerment last Thursday and have since been released.
Officers found about 20 marijuana plants growing in the bedroom of Turrieta's one-year old daughter. The apartment is part of the Segovias complex on Tustin Village Way.
Both Turrieta and Casino claim the marijuana was for medical use and approved by a doctor.
That claim has not been verified by authorities.
