'Nine,' 'Avatar' hit the big screen

LOS ANGELES "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" stars /*Sarah Jessica Parker*/ and /*Hugh Grant*/ as an unhappily married city-slicker couple who witness a mob hit.

The two are forced to hide out and find their lives turned upside down when they're relocated to a tiny town in Wyoming.

The musical "/*Nine*/" opens in limited release. Director /*Rob Marshall*/ has an all star cast, led by /*Daniel Day Lewis*/, singing and dancing their way through a musical version of Federico Fellini's classic film,"8 1/2."

Also in limited release is the movie, "The Young Victoria."

/*Emily Blunt*/ has earned /*Golden Globe*/ and /*Critics Choice*/ nominations for her role as the young Queen Victoria. The film focuses on her rise to the crown, and the first, often turbulent years of her reign.

Rupert Friend co-stars as Prince Albert, the royal suitor who won her heart.

Another awards-nomination favorite also opened this week.

/*Jeff Bridges*/ stars in "/*Crazy Heart*/", playing a down and out music veteran named Bad Blake. He's a guy who's still trying to make a go of his career, but can only find work performing in dive bars and bowling alleys.

Blake's boozy world takes an unexpected turn when he meets and falls for a small-town journalist, and single mom, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

And finally, the highly-anticipated "/*Avatar*/."

Director /*James Cameron's*/ 3-D, live action, animation and effects-filled spectacular takes you to the distant planet of Pandora. Humans have arrived and it becomes a collision of cultures and in the middle of it all, there's a love story.
