Mission Viejo coach accused of molesting teen

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. Orange County Sheriff's officials said 39-year-old John Haynes of Mission Viejo was taken into custody Saturday. He's accused of inappropriately touching a girl, who's between the ages of 14 and 17.

According to the Orange County jail, Haynes has been released from custody.

Although he worked for Mission Viejo High, he was not on the Saddleback Unified School District payroll. Sheriff's officials said he also coaches a team that's not associated with the school.

Investigators believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information was urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 1-866-TIP-OCSD (1-866-847-6273).
