SANTA ANA, Calif. --
An 8-inch water main ruptured in Santa Ana and caused traffic delays on Friday morning.The main ruptured on St. Gertrude Place between Standard and Grand avenues at about 3 a.m. The gushing water caused the street to buckle, sending thousands of gallons of water down the roadway. Crews worked to shut off the water Friday morning. It's not clear how many homes and businesses were affected.
