The victim reported that he heard noises and saw a man enter through an unlocked sliding glass door.
Upon witnessing this, the victim hid in a room nearby and watched the suspect remove several items, including a TV and a computer. The suspect then fled the home with the stolen property.
Police officers investigating the burglary located Myers, who was identified as the suspect and arrested. However, the stolen property was not located.
Two men with Myers were interviewed and released.
The Ventura Police Department is investigating the case and warns residents to lock all doors and windows.
