Disabled mother fights to see her triplets

April 21, 2010 12:48:55 AM PDT
A mother who is unable to move or speak may get a chance to see her 3-year-old triplets.Abbie Dorn suffered a brain injury during the delivery of her babies in Los Angeles in 2006. She is now being taken care of by her parents in South Carolina.

Her ex-husband who still lives in L.A. has custody of the children and refuses to let them visit her. He claims that seeing her might be traumatic for the children.

Now, an L.A. County judge has ruled that her parents can go to court to fight for their daughter's right to see the youngsters. Superior Court Judge Rudolph Diaz ruled that they have a right to pursue visitation with the children.

The judge has also ordered neurological testing for Dorn.
