Sketch released of Placentia kidnap suspect

PLACENTIA, Calif. Investigators said the man got out of his car, approached a teenager as she waited at a bus stop and repeatedly asked her if she wanted a ride. They said he finally relented when of one of her friends showed up.

Police said a few minutes later the same suspect approached another high school student . The suspect got out of the car, grabbed the girl and tried to pull her into his vehicle. She managed to fight him off and ran away.

The suspect was described as a white man, about 25 years old, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet tall, about 160 to 170 pounds, with curly brown gelled-back hair. He has a slightly gaunt appearance in his face and yellowing teeth. The suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.

The car was last seen driving away, westbound on Orangethorpe Avenue. A second suspect, who was driving the vehicle, was described as a white male in his 20s with a light brown, faux-hawk-style haircut.

The car was described as a light blue, 1990s-model Jeep Cherokee or Wagoneer with faded, peeling paint.
