Twin baby pandas make debut at zoo in Japan

SHIRAHAMA, Japan The brother and sister pandas were born on Aug. 11.

They have already quadrupled their birth weight, tipping the scales at just less than 25 ounces each.

Their birth was no surprise at the zoo in Shirahama. The twins' mother had her first set of twins there in 2008.

The Adventure World /*Zoo*/ said visitors will be able to get a glimpse of the little /*pandas*/ twice a day starting on Saturday.

The new arrivals have yet to be named.
