Betty White mania reaches 'You Again' premiere

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. "People love Betty White more than anybody ever has been loved in show business," said actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

The octogenarian, who suddenly became a sensation, is now playing Kristen Bell's grandmother in the comedy film.

"She's an icon," Bell said. "She's the latest and the greatest. You just don't get better than her."

"She's so funny," added actress Odette Yustman. "She's the coolest person in the room always. Love her."

"To see her now, the toast of the industry, I think just shows you that we're probably in the best business that's ever been created on this earth," said actor Patrick Duffy.

Some fans at the premiere had Betty masks on. Others couldn't mask their feelings.

"Everybody wants to see her, she's amazing," said actor Victor Garber. "I have a crush on Betty White. And, by the way, it's reciprocal."

"You Again" is rated PG. It will be in theatres Friday.
