Dorian was the Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1968.
She was arrested Saturday on the 7000 block of Hawthorn Avenue. Dorian is charged with one count of attempted murder.
The boyfriend, whose name has not been released, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
