Zsa Zsa Gabor hospitalized for blood clot

LOS ANGELES Prince von Anhalt said Gabor was complaing of leg pain and swelling so a doctor was called to their Bel Aire mansion. The doctor examined Gabor and found a massive blood clot in her leg.

He was concerned it could move from her leg to her heart, so paramedics rushed the 93-year-old actress to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center around 1:30 p.m.

Gabor has been hospitalized several times this year.

In July, she fell out of bed and broke her hip. She underwent hip replacement surgery and was sent home about a month later. But within days, she was sent back to the hospital after developing blood clots.

In August, Gabor was given her last rites at the hospital. At that time, she declined to have any more medical procedures and returned home.

Then on August 31, she was taken to the hospital again after her husband found her unresponsive. Doctors were able to stabilize her and she was released.
