Gov't investigates Honda CR-V, Kia Optima

WASHINGTON The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said three people complained of fires coming from the driver's power window switch in 2006 Honda CR-Vs.

The /*Honda*/ investigation covers 150,000 vehicles. The /*Kia*/ investigation covers 41,000 2007 Optimas.

Three people complained about problems with a shift cable in the automatic transmission of the Kia Optima. One person said the car rolled away while in park.
