Montel Williams cited for pot pipe at airport

LOS ANGELES According to the Sheriff's office there, when Williams passed through security, the TSA found a pipe commonly used for marijuana.

He was cited, paid the almost $500 citation and released to continue his travel.

Williams has said he uses marijuana to relieve the chronic pain caused by his multiple sclerosis.

He's been a medical marijuana activist for years.

So far, he has not commented on this case.
