The spacecrafts are aligned exactly opposite each other on opposite sides of the sun. Scientists say the 360-degree view will help them better understand space weather and the violent eruptions that spout from the sun's surface.
The eruptions can damage satellites, disrupt communications and disable power systems on Earth.
