S. LA man threatens noisy neighbor w/ knife

A South Los Angeles man threatened his neighbor with a knife for making too much noise, and when police arrived on scene, a standoff ensued on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011.

A South Los Angeles man threatened his neighbor with a knife for being noisy, and when police arrived, a standoff ensued.

When authorities responded to the scene located at 52nd Street and Denker Avenue, they attempted to subdue him with a Taser device but missed. That's when the man barricaded himself in his home.

At approximately 6:15 a.m., police were able to take the suspect into custody without incident.

The identities of those involved were not immediately released.
