Rays Rentals has been preparing for this year's academy awards since last October and there is still plenty to accomplish.

On Hollywood Boulevard, rain tents are up and so are spirits.
"It looks exciting," said Dontae Brown of Daytona, Fla., while walking down the strip. "It's very bright, there are a lot of lights. It's very different from Florida."
