'Dancing With The Stars' elimination: Wendy Williams or Chris Jericho?

LOS ANGELES

When judges' scores and viewer votes were combined, the talk show host was silenced from the competition.

Wendy Williams is heading back to her day job after being eliminated from what's becoming a very competitive season. Williams got 15 points out of 30 Monday night for her Foxtrot with partner Tony Dovolani.

"It's not easy to be judged for something you never claimed to be good at and get scores that you don't feel as though you deserve," Williams said. "Tonight is bittersweet for me. It's bitter because nobody likes to get cut. It's sweet because I get back to my gorgeous son, my supportive husband, my wonderful staff of 'The Wendy Show' and the business of running Wendy."

That includes a new game show she begins hosting later this month.

"This is a busy woman, she's got so much going on," Dovolani said. "But I will say this: we laughed a lot."

The remaining nine couples, including Chris Jericho who was also on the chopping block, move on to dance another week.

Kendra Wilkinson is taking on the Viennese Waltz and Petra Nemcova is promising a different side to her personality when she takes on the Paso Doble.

"You just know the nice, sensitive, gentle one," Nemcova said. "There's a fire as well. You're going to need firefighters!

After all the attention Kirstie Alley and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy got after falling down during their Rumba, how can they keep that momentum going? Maybe a wardrobe malfunction?

"For votes, I will malfunction myself. Seriously. On both sides, just like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom," she said.

The results show also included musical performances Selena Gomez, OneRepublic and the Scene.
