3.3-magnitude earthquake hits near Gardena

GARDENA, Calif.

The tumbler hit about 13 miles south of the Los Angeles Civic Center at a depth of about 10 miles.

The Eyewitness newsroom got about 20 calls from viewers who felt the shake. Those calls came from Hawthorne, Compton, Torrance and several other communities.

Virtually all of those callers said it felt a lot stronger than a 3.2-magnutude earthquake.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
