Hiker rescued off cliff in Topanga State Park

LOS ANGELES

The department's Air Rescue Team was called out at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday after a young woman became trapped high atop a cliff while hiking.

The sheriff's footage shows her clinging to the rock behind her.

The woman was in danger of falling 500 feet to the canyon below, until rescuers hoisted her to safety.

She is said to be recovering from minor injuries.
