A Seattle man who moonlights as a superhero has been fired from his day job. His day job is working with children with autism.

"Phoenix Jones," real name Benjamin Fodor, is a self-appointed crime fighter. He likes to put on his costume and patrol the streets of Seattle.

Last month he was involved in a pepper-spray incident. Fodor says he was trying to break up a fight and used pepper-spray.

That put him on a "watch list."

The state Department of Health Services saw the listing and told him they were letting him go.

Fodor says that's not fair.

Police never charged him with any crime.
