NYU professor says he was fired for giving James Franco bad grade

NEW YORK

Jose Santana said he was fired for giving Franco a "D" grade in his acting class. Santana said Franco didn't show for 12 of his 14 classes.

The professor told The New York Post that the school created a "Franco-friendly environment" to cash in on the actor's celebrity status.

NYU and Franco have not commented on the lawsuit.
