President Obama's vacation in Hawaii ends

HONOLULU

The president took his wife and daughters to an exhibition center on Sunday displaying the anthropological work of his late mother.

The center says the exhibition includes photographs taken during Dunham's years of field research in Indonesia, as well as her personal art and artifact collection.

The Obamas also visited the grave of the president's grandfather earlier in the day. Stanley Dunham was buried at Punchbowl National Cemetery.

Obama was born and raised in Honolulu, though he spent a few years as a boy living in Indonesia with his mother.
