Cypress Police were summoned at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday by a report of a suspect firing two shots in the courtyard of an apartment complex on the 9500 block of Graham Street.
Officers arrested the suspect as he was exiting the complex on foot. He complied with officers, according to police, and was arrested without incident.
The suspect was visiting family at the location and was involved in an argument that led to him arming himself and firing the gun, according to police.
The suspect had a restraining order against him prohibiting him from being at the complex and from possessing a firearm, according to police.
